GROUP HEAD OF SUSTAINABILITY & LENDLEASE FOUNDATION

For over 20 years, Cate has been actively involved in the design, planning, delivery and management of sustainability strategies across both the public and private sectors.

Having completed a secondment as the Executive Director at the UN Global Compact Network Australia (GCNA) in 2018, Cate was excited to return to Lendlease to the role of Group Head of Sustainability and Lendlease Foundation, responsible for the remit of both functions across Lendlease's operations globally. In this capacity, Cate has led the repositioning of the sustainability strategy and the establishment of the industry leading sustainability targets that result in Lendlease being a 1.5 degree aligned organisation, aiming to be Absolute Zero Carbon Scopes 1,2&3 by 2040 and creating $250 million of social value by 2025.

Cate is a Director on the global Board of ResponsibleSteel, driving international, multi-stakeholder support for the production and certification of ResponsibleSteel.

Cate has a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) (Environmental).
