FutureSteps is a Lendlease social impact initiative built on a simple conviction: everyone deserves a place to call home. We form long-term partnerships with not-for-profit organisations across Australia, working alongside them to deliver housing solutions and the wraparound services that make real change possible.
Our focus: We partner with organisations driving systemic change on homelessness: increasing housing supply, strengthening pathways to long-term housing security, and building community resilience for those most at risk.
Our history: The first grant was provided to Platform Youth Services in 2019 and since then we have donated over $5.7M to a diverse range of inspiring partner organisations. And delivered an additional $1.5M in social value through volunteering and in-kind support.
How we work: At FutureSteps, we believe the most meaningful change happens through relationships, not one-off transactions. We select and commit to partners tackling homelessness with bold, systemic thinking, and work alongside them over time. We work collaboratively from generating opportunities for innovative solutions around housing stress and homelessness, to getting boots on the ground through volunteering opportunities for our people.
